Fort Union Inn

Stayed here on a recommendation from family. What an excellent choice it was! The room was surprisingly big and there was a decent sized refrigerator and microwave in the room. The price was MORE than reasonable plus it's right across the street from a convenience store! We do plan on staying here again in the near future. The staff was very friendly and were genuinely glad to have us stay.

such an amazing little find. the two women who run the place(front desk, housekeeping) were amazing host. my coworkers and I loved and used the grills every night, and loved the hospitality provided to us our entire stay. the hotel is walking distance to the supermarket restaurants and anything else. overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

This is a nice little place. It's a touch dated, but the clean rooms make up for it. Nice refrigerator and microwave with nice flat tv and Direct TV. There are deer that walk through the town which is pretty cool as well. The two Ladies that run it are awesome.

Bathrooms could use a little TLC but otherwise a great stay as always. I had 5 rooms for the crew and had no complaints from any of em. Low rates, good TV channel selection, clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet. I choose Fort Union over Colstrip Inn every time. Plus the food shacks in the parking lot are muy bueno!

A trip to Colstrip and need to stay in a hotel? The fort Union inn is where you should put down your bags. Carol takes great care of the place. She has her grandson cutting the lawn perfectly and she puts out propane BBQ grills when do you want to do your own cooking.

This Inn is the perfect place to stay when passing thru Colstrip, or staying here for the week. The rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable. They are equipped with flat screen TV, internet, a nice size refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, AND right outside your door, propane grills!! There is also a chair/table outside each door. Pets are allowed, and our 2 pups enjoyed our spacious room! I especially loved the huge expanse of green space beside the Inn. A very nice blacktop run follows along this area for walks, a brisk run, or biking. I’d also like to mention these amenities: Rosebud grocery store, the Town Pump, and a restaurant are all very close by for dining out, or picking up some steaks for your handy grill! There is also a gourmet coffee hut and Grammies “hut” in the Parking Lot for that morning breakfast burrito if you like! So convenient! Everything is easily walkable! Right across 39 stands an ACE Hardware like none I’ve ever seen before. They have much more than hardware! Craft aisle, card aisle, home decor aisle, material and sewing notions, toy aisle, and a greenhouse! If you forgot anything, you will find it here! There is also a Subway on that side of 39. (I think it’s the only fast food restaurant here). Why would anyone stay anywhere else? The management also gets 5 stars!! Really nice people!

Very friendly staff and great rated for the rooms. Floors in my room creek a bit too much. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Rooms always cleaned and fresh, air conditioning, heating, coffee, cable TV, soda machine, queen beds, bathroom, double rooms, best cleaning ladies in town. Good owner. Thanks
